« on: June 04, 2009, 07:52:33 PM »
Hi

Can anybody recommend a good multi-sports resort in the US ?

I'm looking for something similar to http://www.clublasanta.com/

Thanks a lot for any good suggestions.

Why, so you can go play third rate slow pitch softball with a bunch of other middle age losers who never could get past Junior Varsity in High School?

thanks to all for your replies.

I wasn't looking for a fat camp but for a hotel/resort with excellent sports facilities and maybe some organized activities such as guided cycling tours and some coaches if you want to learn something new.

It could be that the place on the Canary Islands I referred to in my original message is as unique as it claims to be.

I was there two years ago and they had guests from all over the world and on all skill levels - from normal mortals trying out different sports all the way to professional athletes preparing for the Olympics (German National Triathlon team was there, some swimming teams, some professional cyclists etc.

Thought they must have dozens of places like that in the US, given how big a role sports plays, but maybe not.
