I'd be surprised if 1/2 of GB looks better than Vince...seriously.  Take away the retalitory comments from Vince or any personal biases...he's not gonna win any shows, but neither are most GBr's.

I already spoke to the judges at the show which I did right after as far as the improvements I need to make and I've relayed the info to adviser that helped me out in this show.

But I certainly don't need your help or for the most part anyone else's advice up here because most of it isn't sincere.

first of all, who in their right mind would get on a bodybuilding stage looking like you and actually think they 'held their own'?

take a trip into the inner city, fruitloop- see those brothers standing on the corner? all of them have more muscle than you and are easily much leaner.

you got on stage with a bf level over what an 'in shape' male would have, and don't even look like you have stpped foot in a gym, yet you think you are some kind of 'competitor'.

I find the guilty scream the loudest. I think the ones who dish out the real, real insulting comments have some issues with themselves MOST the time. I suppose it's like being back at school where the so-called bullies would try and detract from their own personal problems and find reasons to aim the negative attention away from themselves. I've been reading the threads following Vince's weekend contest in NC. I've seen all the pics and comments. I can sympathize with both sides. I can see why many say he looks like shit. However, as many of u know, I posted my transformation about a year ago leading up to Mr GB III. I received a lot of the same comments that Vince is receiving. Encouragement and insults. I actually enjoyed both for diff. reasons....

My question is 'Who looks better than Vince?'...no pic required...just honesty...I think I look better than Vince right now.

There's a million people who can simply respond to this post stating that they look better than me.  I pay no heed to that simply because they've never shown their pictures ever.

 I can open some anonymous account and say I look better than Ronnie Coleman....does it make it true because I said it?


However, you have commented on yourself looking better than me.  You do have pictures from the Mr Getbig which look really good.  After all you did finish 2nd in the contest.


But alas my friend, there is a huge difference between pictures on the internet in your underwear and actually competing on the bodybuilding stage.  

You're not posing in front of a camera for choice shot, you're posing in front of 5 judges and hundreds of people out in the audience.  The lights are hot, the smell of hot stuff and Pam cooking spray illuminates the room, you have to listen to all the calls from the judges, crowd is screaming, etc.  All of that around you and its very hard to concentrate on your posing.  You're usually out there for around 10 minutes so holding those "relaxed positions" will take a toll on your body.   Oh lets not forget about making sure your tan is right for the stage to where it doesn't wash out all of your cuts and striations in front of those lights.  

Not that easy now is it???


You do have a good physique dov but I would suggest actually competing on an actual stage rather than make assumptions that you can "BEAT" someone or that you look better than someone.  Its an arrogant statement to make but well, this is Getbig and people's egos up here usually exceeds reality.



P.S.  With your small arms and wide waist, you would look pretty bad onstage actually.

I just can't agree with his self-righteous attitide he takes cause he competed....esp when he started talking about the Metrolina and started ignoring me when he found out who I was....I won the Jr overall at that show when I was 20.....he made it out to be so badass then he gets in a class with 2 people, gets a trophy and blasts that in peoples face....then does a NGA show with his bowflex/ab coaster home setup and bitches about people using juice just he cant get it and afford it.....Fuquay Varina has nice gyms but Vissy wont go to them cause he gets laughed out of them.....NC is hard on Vissy, bad attitude is something I cant support

Sheeeeesh, give us a break.  I've competed on stage Vince, and it isnt that much different from posing in front of a mirror.  If you know how to pose in the first place, then there is no difference doing it onstage and doing it at home.  Don't try to glamourize it into some sort of mystical thing.

i had both hips replaced 6 times a shoulder dislocated a pulnomary embolism a feeding tube for antibiotics shoved up my arm all within a years time, after which i still looked better naturally than vince, but give the guy credit he's trying in more ways than one nuff said fred.

I started this thread partly in defense of you. I credit you for working hard and competing. I do think that you probably look much better than well over 1/2 of GBr's....my question for everyone is whether they look better than you or worse. Only a few are honestly saying they look better than you.. I think I look better than you..I'm leaner than you and have better structure...however, I do not have good enough structure to get on stage. How bout entering Mr GB IV and we'll compete?
