Who's it gonna be?

- Shane McMahon?   The McMahon kids seem to be above GM work now.
- Stephanie McMahon?
- Ric Flair?   Good possibility.
- Chavo Guerrero?   Would seem a natural successor.
- Tommy Dreamer?   Doubt it, esp since winning the ECW strap the other night.
- Dusty Rhodes?   Has potential.
- Shawn Michaels?   Didn't care for him as "commissioner" years back.
- Teddy Long?   Seems too recycled.
- Mike Adamle?!   No idea.

Flair would be good as long as he doesn't wrestle. I'm sick of all the McMahons except Vince.I'll miss Vickie though.

I thought that whilst it would be a surprise, it could happen.  Depending on the accuracy of the reports, he was telling people that Sunday was his last match, so he might decide to end it on a high and step down from active duty.  I think he'd make a good GM on Raw, he could slap around the kids who disrespect him.

I like Flair, but his speech seems to be getting worse every time he gets on the mic.

I'll kinda miss Vickie, in that I enjoy watching her get humiliated.

I'm glad to see that lard ass vicky go. She got on my nerves. Flair I think is the best candidate so far for GM. I hope he doesn't wrestle either. I think it would tarnish him as the younger WWE crowd won't understand the Flair legacy. Plus, he's up there in age. I would hate to see him get hurt.

I truly love Shawn. But for me he has lost his charisma. He's still great in the ring. But unless it's with DX acting silly. He's lost the HBK attitude and arrogance. He's not the guy for GM.
He was at his prime in 1998. When he made his comeback, the much smaller (if he wasn't already small enough) shawn was still the show stopper but not the same. The one thing I do like about shawn is his work rate. He will always give the people a great show.

That’s a great observation.
No matter how HBK has looked physique-wise, he always turns in the same topnotch performance - at least in the ring.

In my time, HBK has never ever put on a poor performance. All his matches were all top shelf and his PPV matches surpassed that.

As seen last night on Raw, Vickie Guerrero announced she was resigning as General Manager of Raw.

In a perfect case of timing with next week's Raw taking place in Charlotte, North Carolina, Ric Flair will be announced as the new General Manager of Raw.

Flair has re-signed or is on the verge of re-signing with World Wrestling Entertainment. There are no plans for him to wrestle, so the vacancy in the Raw general manager position works out perfectly for him to return to television.

There's a lot of stories out there at the moment.  This one is from ProWrestling.com:

With Vickie Guerrero's exile from WWE, RAWs General Manager remains vacant. As of yesterday, WWE officials were still contemplating who will take her place as the RAW GM. There is a lot of speculation saying Ric Flair will become the new GM, due to the fact that RAW is in Charlotte, NC next week on the special 3-hour edition of RAW.
The decision as to who will replace Vickie has yet to be determined, anything suggesting otherwise is pure speculation at this point.

I think Flair has to be the favourite right now.

I don't know about you guys but I hope Flair gets the GM postion. I think it is a perfect role for him at this stage of his career.
