They're saying with the Fed getting public scrutiny for the first time since it's creation in 1913, it will not be able to survive. Let's take back our freedom, our ancestors fought TOO FUCKING HARD for it!!!!

Ron Paul only needs eight more representatives.

Let's just hope this doesn't die in the Senate.

Ron Paul only needs eight more representatives.

Let's just hope this doesn't die in the Senate.

Word. So far S 604, the Senate version of HR  1207 had it's first vote so far...
Here's from Ron Paul's Myspace bulletin today:

Jim DeMint, a Republican South Carolina Senator is now the first cosponsor of S 604, which is the Senate's companion legislation to H.R. 1207, Congressman Paul's Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2009.

There is still a BIG uphill battle to get any of this type if legislation to pass, even though there is a majority of House Members cosponsoring. There will no doubt be a big long debate on Federal Reserve transparency. Committee head Barney Frank is NOT a cosponsor of H.R. 1207. And, since he is head of the Financial Committee where H.R. 1207 has been referred, that is a big hurdle. As a Keynesian, he is not in line with Congressman Paul and the Austrian School of Economics way of thinking.

Additionally, even if it were to successfully pass in The House of Representatives, which it is far from, there is still a long road ahead with The Senate.

Fortunately, Sen. DeMint, a highly respected and principled conservative, has signed with Bernie Sanders of Vermont who introduced S. 604. To have both Senator Sanders and Senator DeMint now working together for S.604 is a major step in the right direction.

In addition to continuing to seek additional cosponsors for H.R. 1207, it is important for Ron Paul's supporters to also contact their own Senators to urge them to support S.604.

More news will be forthcoming in the coming days. Thank you to all who have been working so feverishly to advance HR 1207 and S.604. No work has gone unnoticed.

Warmest Regards,
Greg Chamberlain

Most of that shit is pure propaganda, there are some things in there that are true, but it's heavily diswayed by the very thick underlying motive.

I do agree with the OP, people need to push their reps to get this through.  It's got a long road ahead to make it into the senate and might be stopped there, but at least the public will start asking questions as to why it was stopped and what does the Fed have to hide?

It's going to take a lot of personal responsibility on the behalf of each and every one of us. If you truly want freedom you gotta want to be free even more than you desire to have your next breath. This is what we carried our genes through time for, my friends. To be here and experience all the lessons life has for us so that our species can bloom into something far more beautiful than what we have known for these past generations. Freedom and Peace in the name of Love.
