I often wonder why people so passionate about their homeland move away...
Perhaps a more socialist system like Canada or England/other European countries promotes migration to that country.  The problem is migration without assimilation.

Ya, isn't it amazing how people use their 'homeland pride' to justify their refusal to assimilate? They are X ethnicity or culture or nationality... and the're damn proud of it!!! Except that it was so shitty there that they moved to the US or England or France or wherever.... And they are damn proud of themselves !  Yet still seek out any and all social service programs they can get their hands on...

NBC was breaking down these results versus the last election.  pretty funny.

The challenger was defeated by a landslide in his own hometown and district.  The center of base for his entire operations, where hundreds of people were actually running his campaign, and he is defeated by something silly like 90% there.
