I'm sorry, evangelicals are nuts and the biggest ones are highly political and do plenty of hating themselves. Evangelical is not a race of people so it's not the same level of hate. It's hating an ideology, not a skin color. So if you are going to call out Jag for hate speech and call her a hypocrite after all the hate I've seen put out on this board toward the left by some of you or even other ways of thinking... Wow, I'll be asking you to justify your past statements as well. The only person here who I think is in the clear is BB, I can't think of any obvious hate by him. He's careful in how he chooses his words here. The rest of you might have some explaining to do.

it looks like since you hate evangelicals too it's ok for people to spout hate against them? religion or sexuality does not equal a skin color or race of people either so what do you mean it's not the same level of hate. hate is hate isn't it?

people are hating on religion and various ideologies all the time here. I don't see the biggie. People hate on specific religions over others. I still don't think it's in the same ballpark as hating someone for the color of their skin. Religion is a choice. People are not born as evangelicals. I don't think anyone here should have to be held accountable for despising things in people that are a choice. It's like if I said I hate the republican party or someone else saying they hate the dems, who cares. I got no problem with hate on that level and it flys here all the time.

what the people are saying here is jag posted that article and spews out the same type of hate that obama condemns in that article. now posting an article doesn't mean you agree with everything in it so maybe jag was just posting it as an informative article. but somehow i think she agrees with it as long as it excludes groups that she hates. that's why people want her to explain how loco took her posts out of context.

I agree...it's not the same...I think we aree using the word "hate" instead of "criticism"....I see nothing wrong with hating a particular ideology....as long as the people of said ideology are not condemned to death or have rights and privileges taken away.....and are treated with respect for their beliefs

well then I agree if Jag thinks or agrees with Obama that it should be unacceptable to hate a religion. But I can't read her mind on that so I guess she will either speak on it or not. I can see how one who is against racial hate would post that article even if they did believe it wasn't in the same arena as hating a religion. Hard to find a politician who's not lumping it all together when talking on it.
