How to make bodybuilding magazines sell more copies
« on: June 14, 2009, 11:51:00 AM »
Always include a beautifull girl on the front cover. That way guys won't feel insecure and embarrassed when buying the magazine.

Also, they may want to have some original material, instead of Big Arms this winter and Ripped abs this summer.

MD and Flex should thank me for this wisdom.

Perfect Example:

How to sell more copies?

1. Charge less. Most of the magazines are above 7 dollars a copy. That is outrageous. No more than 3 dollars a copy is acceptable.

2. Reduce the ads. Most mags are 80% ads. While I like looking at some of the interesting ad pictures, it's too much crap.

3. Include more news relating to physical fitness, bodybuilding, etc. Most of the actual material is just rehashing of decades old info. A lot of it is often contradictory anyway. Include more news, studies, etc. Like Muscular development does/did.

4. Include more pieces written BY BODYBUILDERS.

If there was a chick on the cover your referring to it would be perfectly normal. She could have been putting her hands on his shoulders standing behind him and he could have had a normal expression on his face.

i'm  somewhat a fan of branch warren , i really like his hardcore look, but if you want to sell mags just recycle all the old covers. seriousely.
