Of course the athletes vote, who else would?
question is, of what interest is it to you?
Chick you seem to think that I just get off on harassing you, but this isn't the case. I just don't like being lied to. You have either lied, or taken a hypocritical stance on various topics for years now... I am hardly the first to take you to task about your lack of transparency.
I probably shouldn't care, or waste the time and effort, on this board rebutting you, but I care about bodybuilding, and we need to see a new paradigm shift in this industry...from the top down.
There is only a few people with enough juice to really get things moving in the right direction, and you are one of those people. Lobbing for more prize money at shows is a good start...but hardly a subversive action.
We need someone at the higher echelon that isn't afraid to call B.S. on the IFBB when it is appropriate, and is willing to address some of the more controversial issues plaguing the sport.
We are still seeing a lot of site injection/weird lumps at the top level, we still have a lot of top pros doing G4P/Gay themed pornography. Non-asthetic physiques are now the norm instead of the exception.
There is still no transparency in regards to talking about Gear use. False promises/lies about the effectiveness of supplements are still standard in this industry. Now I'm not saying we should give gear too much credit and downplay the dedication, and hard work that goes into Bodybuilding...but we shouldn't just sweep it under the carpet either.
You still haven't done anything to try and create a sexual harassment policy, nor have you, (as far as I know), taken the matter of sexual offers/for placings, seriously. We can debate how often this goes on, (probably not often), but it HAS happend, so there needs to be a whistle-blower policy in place to protect the athletes.
However...as the case with Milo's has demonstrated...whistle blowing is not tolerated in the IFBB, and will only lead to being ostracized.
M!
