It has been a while since I pulled in a suit so I threw on the old metal deadlifter and pulled 505. The suit was so tight it poped one of my nuts inside of me and I almost puked.

I just thought you should know that.

I feel for you mate...I have seen it happen to someone before whilst legpressing...too be honest we were all laughing (he wasn't) but once we realised what had really happened we felt a little bad

Actually, in some old combat sports, combatants used to push their testicles up into their body for the duration of the fight.
You wouldn't have done any damage.

The suit will help most if you pull sumo. With some conventional pullers the suit actually can hinder their ability to reach the bar.

Depends on your proportions. I dont get much out of a conventional suit. 10-20 lbs maybe.

That is about what I get on sumo but my raw sumo is about 40lbs behind my conventional and at the moment I dislike sumo.

Not much right now. If I trained you personally I think I could add at least 50lbs to your raw dead in a month. Without drugs, just addressing some holes in your technique.

I get about 50lbs out of a suit pulling conventional but some don't get much, maybe 10lbs, if that. I know sumo pullers who get 85lbs out of a suit.

Looking at the vid, the lockout looks worse then it felt at the time. I had decent speed off the floor but I think need to keep my hips down at the start. If any of the experts have any tips/comments let me know.
