I dig darks but ambers are my favorites. Lucky for me the Pac NW has over 30 private micro brews to visit all with 5-10 different flavors. Great stuff.

Anyone coming to the Seattle area let me know...I'll give you the tour.

No I was dead serious..anyone on GB comming to Seattle hit me up, I live downtown so I know the spots for a good pint. And if you come during season and need to get your cardio in we (Seattle Rugby Team) allow anyone to practice with us. 2hrs of tackle drills and shit will get you ready for a good pint after..LOL

This is correct.

Franziskaner, Paulaner, Tucher are all examples of great Weiss beers  (weizen).   The "dunkel" varieties (dark), even better.

You know Edelweiss? It's a great Austrian Hefeweizen.

the lights have less carbs,  i think most of them have less alcohol too though.

Brewery/Brand   Beer   Alcohol %   Calories   Carbs

Budweiser (U.S)   Budweiser   5.0   143   10.6
Budweiser   Bud Light   4.2   95   6.6
