Carbs and visceral fat
« on: June 18, 2009, 12:38:36 AM »
Alright, my main problem is that i have a bit of a gut, beer-belly, even though my body fat is quite low (good definition in most muscle groups).
Not that much, but i think genetically that's where i store fat.

Now is there any adaptation to my diet (or training) that i can do to avoid this? Are there any studies on this?
I somehow have the feeling lowering my carbs and upping the fats would help, but i'd like some input from more knowledgable people...

Your body stores fat where it has his Adipocytes, and it's easy that u have more around some areas. Also, there are some studies that shows some local fat lose, but for my experience after u also get more fat there, it's like that muscle claims for more energy so substances.

The best advice I could offer is, don't worry just keep cutting, finally u'll see all shape, just keep cutting. Probably u'll see before your lower abds than the shredded glutes, that point really use to be the last one...

When you're body needs energy and resorts to fat stores it starts pulling fatty acids (stored in the form of triglycerides) from all over. So spot reduction is impossible. Just keep cutting hard.

Spot reduction is only possible through lipo suction.  There are also some injectables that are a mixture Amino Acids, and Clen.  I know of a guy ( male stripper ) that used it to shred off his gut.  But this guy was genetically gifted to begin with.  I have a friend that is trying that over the next few weeks.  I will let you all know how it works for him.
