Most of that is pretty true...I know a few folks at my gym who were pretty small and juiced hard, and were actually relatively weak. Having said that I also knew a couple of bigger guys who were way way stronger who never touched the stuff. I weighed 235 (BF was pretty high maybe 21% plus) and the small dudes flat out refused to believe i was a natty, simply because I always trained in a sweatshirt which made me look even bigger...truth was I was too embarassed to train in anything else since I wasnt that cut.
You can get pretty big natural, just not cut. These other guys tho were all under 200lbs shooting up god knows how much and using GH as well.
Check out some of the "Steroid journals" posts on Steroidology or other steroid message boards. 90% of the guys who post there don't even look like they lift weights, let alone use steroids!!!
Simply using steroids doesn't mean you will be muscular or strong or large, and being muscular, strong or large doesn't mean you use steroids.
People, probably all teenagers who really don't lift weights that much and get all of their bodybuilding info from magazines or message boards, on this website assume that most steroid users are massive hulking 250lb bodybuilders, and they assume that anyone with decent size (Like Doug Miller, the guy in the first post) uses steroids.
These people make me sick. They devalue the achievements of others because they are too weak and pathetic to go through the pain and sacrifice necessary to build such physiques. They think that since they can't do it, no one can do it. This is the most pathetic sort of logic.
