White House sees 10 percent joblessness soon (Hey Obama, how's that "stimulus" working out?)

The White House says double-digit unemployment is coming sooner than previously acknowledged.

White House spokesman Robert Gibbs says the president expects the nation will reach 10 percent unemployment within the next few months.

In an interview with Bloomberg last week, President Barack Obama said he expected the nation to reach 10 percent unemployment sometime this year.

yea, 10% soon....assuming the previous UE crowd found jobs.

we're most likely around 15-18%

We're a couple of days into the mid year turn around the experts predicted. Expect a recovery very soon, possibly sometime next month.

Well, the logic this board showed a few weeks ago dictated that the administration was great and U.E. was "improving" (I still can't grasp how 625k people losing their jobs is improvement) and that the Dow was a up a bit so the recovery was here and everything was going to be great "real soon". What a joke.

The little "Rally" the market had was a fraudulent attempt to get money into the markets. It worked and now all of those people who dumped their money in are going to lose it all in a week or less.

What dont these fools get???

There is not going to be a recovery since most of the jobs gained during the 2000's and lost recently were in some way related to housing.

Almost 5 months into the stimulus and no real effect...except an enormous increase in the national debt.

He didnt save shit.  Go check out my article about his agenda.  Even many democrats are balking at his programs.

Yeah we only lost 625k jobs last month and the Dow was about 50 pts. Problems solved.
