we've opted for democracy over dictators for a while now.  It's easier to manipulate elections if we don't like the guy in charge than overthrow the government.  That's why all the dictators we helped create have gone bye bye one after the other.

So we manipulated it for Ahmadinejad to overwhelmingly win, for most of the clerics to side with him, then for Ayatollah K to come out in support of the elections and then to unleash violence against the rest of the country. Who would have thought it was that simple!!!!!!
