When you are dealing with these kind of loony people, who believe nothing but the likes of Beck, OxyRush, Coulter, Bill 0 the clown, and Hannity - what does that say for the future of this county? We are in serious trouble.

I really can't believe the IGNORANCE of people. Thanks to the wingnut station Fox, along with OxyRush, they are helping turn this county into a half population of complete dimwits. But this Beck is the head of all the clowns. They just love this screamin' idiot.

Maddow, Olbermann, Matthews....all of CNBC besides Scarburough.

You're a gimmick...and a bad one at that.

Besides, there isn't a such thing as "free and independent media" anymore. Each station caters to a certain audience who by and large are told what they are comfortable with.

FOX didn't cover Gov sanford much.  They were all about why Obama wasn't invading iran for the human rights abuses.

I mean 30 minutes after the press conference, CNN and MSN had it, and FOX didn't.

Youre right about MSNBC.  their reporters are smirking nonstop about this affair.

Personally, I think the story is only important because it's a frontrunner 2012.

iran is fairly important.  NKorea is very important, but there's no news on it.

When are you guys going to accept that news stations are all about advertising revenue and fair reporting is the least of their concern.  It's all garbage.  If you want real news watch PBS.

Take it from a guy who does consulting for many companies who advertise on all the major news stations.  It's all about whatever makes them the most $.  Fox, CNN, MSNBC - it's all the same shit man.  They have to generate as much revenue as they can!

good call body88.

FOX news viewers (angry men) are far more interested in scenes of war, and not thinking about a repub who just lost his 2012 chance.

MSNBC news viewers (housewife news) will change the channel when war scenes are on.  They're loving this family drama of the Governor mess.

CNN just loves the gore.

I watch PBS, the BBC and use the web for my info.  Lets take a second to look at how FOX and MSNBC are programed.  Both stations seem to play up the "us vs them" (Libs Vs Repubs) mentality a lot of you guys have on this board.  Hmmmm, I wonder why they do that?

Yeah, not shit.  CNN seems the most "balanced", but even then it's all relative.

LMFAO....

Fox misidentifies South Carolina governor as a Democrat

It's becoming something of a pattern with the folks over at Fox News: All too often when a Republican politician is caught in a compromising situation, the news network declares the person in question to be ... a Democrat.

That happened this afternoon during South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford's press conference announcing he had had an affair with an Argentinian woman. In the tag line at the bottom of the screen, the network identified Sanford as "SC Gov Mark Sanford (D)."

i dunno, 30 minutes later I checked all 3 networks.  CNN was on commercial and came right back to the story.  MSN was masturbating furiously using tears of joy as lube.  And FOX was all about the iran mess.

The Taliban piece was great. First off, the Public Affairs folks working for McCrystal got the gun camera edited and over to FOX in less then 24 hours. It showed our ability to kill people, it showed McCrystals new revised ROE..thus keeping Karzi happy...and it showed why the military loves FOX. They get our asskicking propaganda on TV.

You call it a quickly correctly mistake.  The rest of the world sees it as a mistake that happens constantly with brekaing negative news about a repub who holds office.

They corrected it. Obviously.  They weren't going to leave it up 10 hours.

i contend - along with most people - that it wasn't a mistake.

I'm going to channel my inner CT'er and guess that this is not an accident

this is subtle stuff that I'm very sure (again CT) that they do intentionally

FOX does this a lot.  It's been here on getbig a few times that I can recall.  people are pretty good at screenshotting them by now.

Tony, when Fox "accidentally" used 2000 Mccain campaign footage last year, with bigger crowds and a more vibrant mccain, do you feel that was an honest mistake?  YES OR NO?

way to address the point im making...you spin, you mislead and you do it intentionally for somebody who despises fox for doing it you sure seem to have no problem doing it yourself, why is that?

i think its funny how you always leave things out of your thread from sources, how you always misinturpret articles or videos and spin them into idiotic shit...and this thread is no exception.

to pay you the respect you never pay me ill answer your question and address your point, i heard about it but i never saw it it wouldnt suprise me if it wasnt a mistake i wouldnt rule out an accident though.
