LSU champs

LSU came through with a 5 run rally in the 6th inning in Omaha.

This team has some serious talent on it too.

Obviously two-sporter Mitchell who probably will be the best player in the game in 4-5 years.

But also Mahtohk, who's got all the tools, and very clutch.

Schimpf, a very good batter.

Coleman, big, strong and with location on his pitches as well.

Plenty others, maybe ten on the rooster that will make the starting lineup in the Majors, and at least Mitchell and Coleman, and perhaps even Schimpf, will make the leap straight to the Majors.

Agreed, I saw that most of their team went in the first rounds of the draft.

I was amazed when I watched this team actually. It was a very long time ago that I've seen such a team in any college sport.

Eg, I remember Pitino's 96 Kentucky basketball team like it was yesterday. Everyone just knew that year that Delk, Mercer, Walker, Anderson et al, would win it.
They were more dominant.
But, crazy as it seems, not as talented.

It will be crazy as hell watching these kids playing ball in the minors, and all the way up to the majors.

Another guy who will be awesome to follow is the guy who went undrafted but put on a clinic at the CWS - Kole Calhoun.

Impressive performance especially after getting the shaft like that.
