I bet this is Anna Nicole Smith all over again.  Word is, he became addicted to pain killers following his burn accident years ago.  Jacko was probably on a dozen different meds when he died and had been for years; his frail little heart just couldn't take it anymore.  Wasn't he also a vegetarian? :'(

I agree. He was pretty out there in his more recent interviews, and I'm sure whatever he was on had been taking it's toll.
If I remember correctly, his weight/height on his mugshot from years back showed him being 6'2"-6'3" and only 120# or so? Not sure of the exact numbers, but one could look at him and didn't have to be a rocket scientist to observe he was borderline anorexic. Perhaps he was, and covered it up with a facade (vegetarianism?) or similar?
I overheard a person saying "he was so skinny, how could he die of cardiac arrest?!" Well, Karen Carpenter was skinny too, and while the anorexia was what put her in her physical shape the time of death, she apparently died of cardiac arrest, because she'd put on 8lbs within a very short time frame, and her weakened heart couldn't take the weight gain.
Perhaps MJ suffered something similar? :-\

He says he had the disease, I can't recall the name however.
But in most cases of the disease, it appears blotchy, or with spotting, rather than your entire body's pigmentation disappearing.
My take: I think he had some type of operation or procedure done in order to lighten his skin. And the disease was just another facade to cover up his rather "eccentric" personality.

Everyone keeps talking about him bleaching his skin.  Do you actually know any real person who has done this?  Do you know of a cosmetic surgeon who offers this procedure?  What is it called?  How do they do it?  There are products out there that claim to bleach the skin, but virtually all of them have been exposed as snake oil; they do not work and I liken them to all the various ab products you see for sale on infomercials.  http://www.getbig.com/boards/index.php?topic=276269.0

I know several black people with vitiligo; it is a real condition.  Yes, it manifests as blotchy or spotting discolorations all over the skin and people who suffer from it often use make up (sometimes full body make up) to even it out and make it appear as if their skin is one even color.  If you have a few light patches you use dark makeup to cover them up; if you have many (more than 50%) light patches you use light make up to cover the remaining dark patches to even out the skin tone.  MJ has former cooks and housekeepers who have said he never goes anywhere without a make up kit.

Manipulated photos in photoshop?  Yes.  But I do not believe any black person has successfully bleached his or her skin.
