Things aren't the same here. I used to love reading this board and the humour was second to none. Now I find myself trawling through threads in the hope of finding a glimmer of what used to be  All of a sudden it's boring as hell and there are numerous threads with Arabs licking each others bumholes. Partyly true. Getbig is a shell of it's former self. It was at it's pinnacle when more IFBB pros posted here and legends like SARCASM sent them screaming for their lives. It was at it's peak when FlasRob made IFBB pros meltdown like a candle. It was at it's best when people didn't stalk and post personal information. When Derek Anthony posted here, when Special Ed was making Top-10 Lists etc... Now it's overrun by stalkers with gimmicks galore and boring threads. I remember when this site literally dictated how the entire bodybuilding industry operated. We had judges, promoters, supplement company owners, Blechman, McGouh, Chang and whoever els by their balls. What we wrote about on here ruled with an iron fist. Hell, Titus torches a bitch and the first thing he does? Checks Getbig. - Block! |

Totally agree the place is a shadow of its former self, funny thing is idiots like Switz aka Godwanker are partly the reason, just plain out haters with repetitive arguments, the once occasionally funny Hank Wood is still posting similar type repetitive hate. Throw in a hundred Ronnie v Dorian threads, along with team Nasser and their weird call it what you want worshipping and you have the makings of a once great entertaining site turning into what it is now, no insult to the mentioned bodybuilders.

yes blockhead has got it especially the bold parts. the good news is that it generally does seem to go thru cycles; in fact i believe early summer is typically a lull/slow point for getbig. it will recover. |
