I just got back from the movie and i wanted my money back because it was such a horrible movie. I had to sit through the whole thing and that is why i was not givin my money back.  >:( If i had left while it was still playing, then i would have recieved my money back to me.

I dont understand how the govt kept is a secret all this time when in the first movie the transformers were fighting in the streets in front of thousands of people? the story was so sloppy.

The plot had more holes than swiss cheese, but really, if you were expecting top notch writing and acting from Transformers, that's your own fault. It was based on a cartoon from the early 80's, for cryin out loud.

what does that have to do with the inconsistent plot?

Go look at old episodes of the cartoon. I was a big fan since i grew up watching it. There was no consistency at all. All of a sudden there were Dinobots, supposedly they were there before the autobots. The energon cubes were confusing: were they drilled from cores of planets or did Soundwave create them? Megatron was a huge robot, but when he transformed, he was a little gun. It was full of inconsistencies, but it didn't matter.

The writers fucked up the plot, for sure, but overall it was still very entertaining. I know I could also get entertained by monkeys throwing feces at each other but I sure as hell ain't paying $10 to see it.

Which is more funny, Monkey's throwing feces at each other or Transformers 2? I have to go with the Monkey's. I would be laughing all day long.  ;D

Gotta agree with this one. I watched Transformers and Transformers 2 back to back. The first one was better.  :-\

I thought the first one was better as well.
I think with the exception of Star Trek 2009, very few sequels actually pan out, ...but then again it was a prequel.

Last week, I watched Underworld, then Underworld 2 - Evolution, then Underworld 3 - The Rise of the Lycans.
Out of all three... I found Underworld to be the best of the 3. They seem to get worse with each incarnation.  :-\

Good movie although some Common Sense Hiccups...the story of The Primes was lame, although it was made up, Optimus Prime's spark was passed down to Rhomnimus Prime (sp), in the Cartoon, so that means that Optimus Prime's spark was passed down to him. Another one, is that female transformer that was human, was taking a ride with Spike in  Bumble Bee, and Bumbel Bee didn't detect her as a Decepticon, that was odd, if not impossible.

But she was detected, ...at least as being up to no good.
Why do you think BumbleBee did all that stuff to her. He knew there was something up with her.
Plus she was a next generation decepticon who could transform into organic material.
Big difference from a mechanical one. The biggest stupidity in my opinion, was in the premise that the cube sliver was lodged in his sweatshirt for so many years, yet never detected. Like he never put the sweatshirt on again? Even so, certainly it's "magnetism" would and should have been detected previously. His closet isn't the same as the governments above top-secret reinforced underground bunker.

Exactly, but the new Decepticon is a segway into another movie...It's just that Bumble Bee should have detected the metal and energy from her, they all are fueled by energon, so that should be detected, unless she is stealth Decepticon.

I guess she was a Stealth decepticon then. {shrug}  seriously it's a cartoon movie... no need to overanalyze.
