Then imagine if a terrorist killed them all.

Would people care more?

What if it was a terrorist who killed only 1,000 of American kids? 500 American kids? The news media would be covering it 24/7 for weeks and weeks. There would be massive monuments. Outrage. Countries would be invaded and more people killed in revenge.

JK... I'm sure a a few hundred or even a few thousand little shorties were Filipino or Chinese like myself. It's sad that no one gives a shit. My family sends money overseas and same with my fiance - they've sent tons of money overseas to build houses, purchase farming equipment, medicine, etc... stuff to get them on their feet, not just hand outs.

I'm glad you started this thread..a much needed set of words. Our media today is in shambles. Unfortunatly, it's all controlled by $$ and they're just playing the game. Any and every media outlet is either in the pockets of some organization or visa versa. So, they're pressured to cover some things and not others. MJ's death gets viewership. .period. So, that's what they cover. One of the many reasons that I've always been turned off to the possibility of having children. How and why would I ever, as a parent, want to go up against the hypocrocies of the world in which we live?
