We first e-met on UK-muscle.com, when at a WABBA show where I did something more like bikini, much to the dismay of quite a few peeps as I had been shredded the previous season.

I have a son now and am pretty much back to my never-touched-a-weight-in-my-life look and happy with it for now, still coach a little locally but nothing major.

How is life way up north? Are you experiencing the heat wave as well?

I am sure you will get back to it, sometimes a break is great for recovery.

I did two comps last year, my condition was off (again). I did look massive next to the other nattie girls though.

I was diagnosed as hypothyroid this past winter, so at least now I know why busting my ass didn't work.

I really doubt I will do a comp this year, I do plan on competing next year.

I have to send it a doctor's letter to the nattie feds to explain my thyroxine use. Thyroxine and insulin are the only BBing related drugs that you can use if you need them medically and still be considered natural.

It was more related to my job and I also got a one year ban from the natural for life federation in the UK for being caught smoking a joint.

Some say I could have won the all nattie Brits, it was then that I realised I was smoking WAY too much and it was having a negative impact on my life.

I know what you mean about odd views, for example, a woman can't go on HRT, nor can a man use TRT, even if it might be medically required, however women can take birthcontrol pills and still be considered natural.

In my case, I was losing my hair, I lost half my eyebrows, I typically took at least one nap a day, keeping fat off was a massive battle.

Hypothyroidism is one of those insidious endocrine diseases, you get used to symptoms as they can come on over time but just gets worse.

The insulin can be used by diabetics.
