Assume the work, genetics=everything.
I see what you're saying and we've discussed this at length before, but if you are implying that the amount of work that goes into building a physique takes a backseat to genetics when it comes to the overall contribution, I don't agree. Genetics merely dictates what you can and will be IF you do all the things needed. But it is your work and effort (along with game plan, consistency etc) that actually gets you there. So I wouldn't say genetics is everything, but that it is the one factor that will determine where you stand in comparison to another person who has put in a similar amount of dedication into it as you have.
Genetics is like the make and model of your car. Some people have a Ferrari while others have a Honda Civic. But the person who has the Ferrari may not drive it at all or enough, while the person who has the Honda could keep at it until he ends up covering a greater distance than the former. For sure, if the Ferrari puts his foot down, it will be lights out, but "will he?" is the question that determines who ends up covering a greater distance. Lame analogy, but I think you know how I mean it.
