Brock is lucky the fight wasn't in NY otherwise GetItOnNY would have taken him to the "broken jaw tavern"

It takes a shitload of anger, aggression and attitude to knock the shit out of a guy like Frank Mir.

Brock fought a good fight and struck the man until the ref stopped it.

he stood up and was unable to 'turn off' that animal instinct.  He flipped off the crowd who booed him after winning the championship.

Yeah, I would think if Brock took him down that Mike wouldn't have a lot of options at that point.  ???

Any other thoughts?

Dana strikes me as a pretty shrewd business man.

Brock pulling the stunt he did after the fight pretty much guarantees bigger ticket sales and more mainstream media coverage.

I wouldn't be surprised if Dana took Brock aside before the fight and told him exactly how to act.

Dana's feigned amazement/shock/anger would be part of the act too.

Not saying this happened, but it's not outside the realm of possibility IMHO.
The answer is "yes".

It's possible, although Brock strikes me as being a bully.  Whatever sells more tickets I guess.

It's funny, I was wondering if I was stronger than Georges St. Pierre and the rest in his weight class and the consensus among my friends who follow fighting was that I probably am.

Not that this counts for much, just saying.  ;D

Nothing wrong with Big Wes, his rent was due, but he spent all his money on a Kiss tattoo. A bit of a lowlife, but sounds like the landlord had it coming.

haha i love that song

lesner is a very rude individual, he is rude to fans, he is rude to interviewers...........y ears ago when he was leaving the WWE, and it started to circulate around with the fans (i used to follow the shit in high school)  although he was a face at the time, some of the fans were jeering him during a paperview match, because like i said, the wwe made him fameous, and he very  abruptly and disrespectivly just bailed on it, during the match he  broke kayfabeand told the fans to go fuck themselves.

he likes to storm off the set of interviews when he does not approve of what he is being asked.........so what, he is a miserable misanthropic kunt...........i guess he still has to prove to everyone how tough he is.............fuck em'

one day he will be a painkiller addicted, washed shitbag..............lik e all fighters end up, and he will probably wish he was a little more personable on his rise..........cause once the fall starts, and its inevitable that it will, the merry band of asskissers and sycophants quickly dissappear, ............then who are you left with???

pssst....pay-per-view

Brock Lesnar did win the fight last night hands down, but I lost respect for the guy.
Yes he did was he was going to do, but he acted like a complete asshole. When the fight was going to start, he didnt tap gloves with Mir, which is rude, and shows, poor sportsmanship.
Then he knocks the Frank Mir out and points his finger at him and he says, talk your shit now??????? A athlete with integrity would know that by knocking the guy out you made enough of a statement. To verbally belittle a person who you obviously beat, shows, very poor sportsmanship aswell.
He won the fight, he should have shook Franks hand, the best man won.
To make mattrers worse the arrogant prick flips off the crowd. What kind of nut job flips of the fans who supported him and paid to see him fight???? .You never bite the hand that feeds you.
He is lucky he flipped of the audience in Vegas and not NY.If he would have flipped of the ground in NYC they would have beat his ass.He is lucky 3 or 4 guys didnt get together and say, you want to flip off the huh???? Then beat his cocky ass,lol
I know he apoligised in the post fight press conference, but his behavior, is uncalled for.He is a pretty good fighter, but he isnt great .He is just a big ass farm boy, with some skill.Trust me there are alot of guys who would clean his clock.
Anyways, I cant wait for somebody to get in the ring, and beat his ass, after the way he acted last night. There is nothing worse then a cocky arrogant athlete with poor sportsmanship.I have no respect for any athlete who has poor sportsmanship, I dont care how big or how good he is.A good athlete has respect for others, and always shows good sportsmanship. If you cant show good sportsmanship they shouldnt let you fight or compete at that sport.

Your grammer is horrid ;).  Also, don't you train Mir?  That makes you a tad biased; nothing you typed is objective.

You're delusional.

The whole pre fight shit talking is to hype up the event and sell tickets. Lesnar being a "poor sport" is just another way to stir controversy and sell tickets.

Go watch a few little league games if you're looking for sportmanship.

Anyone who still talks smack after getting their ass handed to them, deserves another whooping.

Correct. Thank you.

classic UFC making a 'bad guy' outta Lesner

he was told to be overly cocky and rude the audience to build hype for rematch or title fight

UFC is taking new route with the extra attention and audience it pulled in with this fight

you need to look more at the TV/money perspective and not the sportsmanship bullshit

gayer than clapping hands at the end of sports games as a kid and not talking shit to other bitchasses

Spike is right - alot of this is staged - the UFC has learned from the antics of wrestling. Those of you think Lesner really "lost his temper" or "smashed the door in his house off the hinges when watching the last fight" are just as confused as the guys who thought the WWF was real!

Sure, the UFC is a little more real, and the fights are real (some, but not all, outcomes are possibly pre-planned) but all this antics stuff is just a set-up. Making Brock the bad guy is perfect for the new "underdog/good guy) who comes along, all making for great ratings and $$$$

'Big Wes' would welcome Lesnar to the Broken Jaw Tavern, better believe it.

Back in the day when GetItOnNY was running trenbalone and Oregon Susties he was no slouch himself, having welcomed quite a few 'big' guys to the tavern.
