The real question about Lesnar is when will he get that cock tattoo removed from his chest?

It represents something to him, a period of his life where he felt like there was a knife against his throat.

Dana strikes me as a pretty shrewd business man.

Brock pulling the stunt he did after the fight pretty much guarantees bigger ticket sales and more mainstream media coverage.

I wouldn't be surprised if Dana took Brock aside before the fight and told him exactly how to act.

Dana's feigned amazement/shock/anger would be part of the act too.

Not saying this happened, but it's not outside the realm of possibility IMHO.

Of course, he's a BU alum  :)

Brock won the fight. Now be a man, shake the guys hand, let the past be the past. Brock took all the pre-fight shit talking personal, none of it means anything. Most of the guys talk shit, before the fight, then after the shake hands, then go have a beer. A lot of UFC guys go party with the guy they fought after the match. They know you win some you lose some. Life goes on.

Most of the guys in the UFC, all get along, and have respect for one another. Brock is just an arrogant guy, who feels entitled because he was a WWE superstar. So what, you can be replaced just like everyone else. Trust me, there are a 1000 guys out there just as big and just as tough as Brock Lesnar. They just arent known yet. There are alot of really tough and crazy ass guys who you havent even heard of.

When I did bodyguard work I knew 3-4 guys who could kill Brock in a fight. One of them was 6' 6" and weighed 360lbs .His name was Big Wes. I guess his name was Wesley. This guy was in the "pen " for 10 years. He just got out.
He went to jail for beating up his landlord, then taking a butterknife and attempting to cut his heart out. He killed the guy. I guess the landlord was bothering his about his dogs, then was bothering him about the rent.

Anyways Big Wes was the biggest, and darkest black man I have ever seen. He was a monster. He was like a real life John Coffee. I have seen Big Wes, take down 2-250 lb guys like they were nothing. He back handed one guy and the guy flew 10 feet. If Big Wes is still alive, I would like to get him in the ring with Brock. Wes would make Brock look small, lol. Plus he was so big, and so dark, its was scary.
There are sleeping giants like that scattered across the world, but it sounds as if he could pwn Brock in a street fight. Being in a ring with the weight of gloves on your hands, and going at it for 3-5 minutes at a time is a big difference. I entered a Army sponsored boxing tournament a few weeks ago thinking I could hang with seasoned vets because, I had a strong left hook and I could run for 30min easily. ::) Well long story short, I thought I was going to blackout because I couldnt get enough oxygen into my lungs to breathe after just 3 two minute rounds. Boxing/MMA is a lot more than just throwing a punch.

10 years for killing a guy??  That's so fucked up.

classic UFC making a 'bad guy' outta Lesner

he was told to be overly cocky and rude the audience to build hype for rematch or title fight

UFC is taking new route with the extra attention and audience it pulled in with this fight

you need to look more at the TV/money perspective and not the sportsmanship bullshit

QFT.

Bad guys sell tickets, sportsmanship doesn't.

One thing people forget is that Brock was a national Division 1 wrestling champ...so a 270lb, mean, extremely strong, excellent wrestler will pose problems for a lot of people.

We need to see Brock fight someone that is going to avoid the takedown and test him on his feet.  I think Brock should fight Gonzaga next.  He may also have problems with Kongo.  I'd love for the UFC to bring in Barnett or Fedor, both of those guys should beat Lesner.

I'm fairly certain Randy would have beaten Brock 8-10 yrs ago.  Besides the 1 takedown, Randy was actually controlling all the standup grappeling in their fight...at 45-46yrs old.

It seemed like Mir gave Brock some problems at the standup exchange in the 2nd round before getting taken down.

But Kongo? After seeing how easily Velasquez manhandled Kongo in the wrestling dept, Debussey can't see how he'll be able to take on Lenser.

Gonzaga got destroyed by Carwin in his last fight. Now you think he should get a title shot coming off a loss?same with congo....I'm glad you don't make the fights.

VanBilderass, honestly if I was 28-30 years old right now I would start training to be a fighter.I did bodyguard for the Rockefeller family while I was going to college.I was making $300 -$2000 a night back in 88-93.Plus I played a nose guard for 4 diffrent semi pro teams, for 5 seasons.I weighed 290lbs when I was playing ball.We won the divicsion Championships back in 03.
I been in alot of fights, and brawls in my day, so I can scrap. If I was about 28-30 years old, I would train to be an ultimate fighter.I think I could hold 260lbs at 6 ft walking into the ring.I think if I got a few good traininers I could hold my own, I have alot of power I benched 575lbs raw, and almost got 600 raw on the bench.I got big hands and big wrsits like Brock so my punches sting.I go to diffrent gyms in Vegas train now and then its fun, I really like it.I just wish I wasnt almost 42.

As far as Big Wes goes, trust me, big Wes,m would kill Brock Lensnar, he was a very big, strong and crazy man. There are alot of body guards who are very very good fighters, they have to be,.But they get paid very well.I know a few body guards who make a couple Million a year, so why bother fighting?
Brock sells alot of tickets, he is an all american boy, with blond hair and blue eyed. But he really hasnt beaten anybody. He has had only 4-5 fights.None of the guys except for Mir was even really a challenge. He beat Couture, who was 45 years old, common.....thats to old.

If you started out training martial arts at 28, you'd not go anywhere in the MMA world regardless of your power.

If I had to fight Brock, I would do my best to put up a damn good fight. But I am pretty sure he would beat me. If I devoted myself to say 2 years of MMA training and kept my strength, it would be interesting. I really am not a fan of wrestling with another guy as a sport though!

gib ..all due respect but even a sparring session with a real fighter would bring you back to reality in 2.3 seconds

I sparred LIGTHLY with this guy in 95 ..Nicholas Pettas

he was Kyokushin european champ at that time

he later went to K1

We were doing things moderate and I got him with a shot and he got pissed and to remind me who's top dog hit my with one of his regular low kicks

lol... I fucking felt that shot EVERYWHERE and got a hematom from it

lol

I was decent but nowhere near his level ... they hit MUCH harder than you even imagine
