I saw a sign with a pic of a syringe with Scott Steiner beside it back in 1999.

Saw a guy in the crowd with a paper bag over his head and a sign reading

"Embarrassed Carlito fan"

Poor Carlito.  He goes from beating John Cena to chasing Hornswoggle through a black hole painted on a concrete wall.

Yeah, I feel bad for Carlito, but I feel worse for the fans who paid money to watch that.

Perhaps one of the most meaningful signs was displayed the week after Tony Schiavone gave away the finish to the taped RAW running opposite Nitro.

During the broadcast, he said something like, “Fans, I’ve just been told that Mick Foley, who once wrestled here in WCW as Cactus Jack, is winning the world title right now. That’ll put a lot of asses in the seats.”

At the next few WWF shows, there were signs reading “Mick Foley Put My Ass In This Seat!”

Tony Shiavone was the worst commentator ever.

nothing beats when Jesse ranted all over him (the famous gun rant) at SummerSlam 89

Tony was lucky to ever have a wrestling commentary job.
He was a perfect fit for WCW.

They let Heenan go, but kept Shiavone.

I like Mike Tenay. He does his "homework," is very educated, and contributes to the matches & product.

But, Tony Schiavone wasn’t a good wrestling color guy.
Allegedly, he was considered to replace Jim Ross on RAW around 2002/2003.
Thank God Kevin Dunn shot that idea up the ass!

Mean Gene summed it up perfectly when he said, "Tony was the consummate politician," and "Tony watched out for Tony, and in doing so, had a tendency to bury people along the way".

Lots of negative industry stories about Tony.

VKM did a great job. With Perfect, Jess, Macho. Bobby. He was awesome.
Vince & Jesse Ventura were a great combo. Jesse always put Vince in his place  :)
