Have you ever thought about the fact that what one fears most often is that one anticipates feeling negative emotions triggered by something, and not the "trigger" itself (people most often say: "I fear this trigger or that trigger").
If you realize that the fear would not be justifiable if you would feel no negative emotions at all when what you fear happens, then there would be no fear, now would it?
With this knowledge in mind, what is it truly to be afraid of? Seeing stuff in a horror movie? What are you truly fearing when seeing a horror movie, when there is no real potential of the movie causing you damage?
This is why fear in a dream or for most things in real life (sometimes fear = ok) does not make sense at all.
99% of the times, fear is a worthless response.
