i worked in a Goverment healthcare setting for a while (veterns administration), and here are some things that happen if the government takes over healthcare:

lazy docs cause there is ZERO incentive to see more people

6-12 month waiting lists

endless paperwork, then more paperwork

doctors are filling in forms and doing even more paperwork (paperwork is 80% of their time, and patients 20%)

basically, it was the worst case senario and the most inefficient thing i ever been involved with, beuracrats should be kept far far far away from healthcare.

OMG, th media is niether liberal nor conservative, nor conservative, neither left nor right wing, it is it's own own entity, a ll of the above. Some elements of both. Plus they want to get stories, there are just as many interviews of ignorant whites thinking Obama was gonna take their guns away. There are even more interviews that showed intellgient comments.

the economy is failing, he has spent more than any other president so fay, and he now wants a 1.7 TRILLION dollar health care reform!
