i'm very happy with my healthcare here in the US of A, even if it is expensive.

I'm nervous about obamacare.  It will definitely combine the middle and lower classes in terms of health care, without a doubt.  Lots of employers will just take the public option to save a buck.

Because I have to go to work to fund, waste, fraud, abuse, etc.

With this new bill, NYC rates are going to almost 60%.  Our property taxes are going up like crazy too.

Retire?

I live in NYC.  I will be working till I die with the cost of living, taxes, etc over here.  I am a main street guy, not a wall street guy.  I make good money, not wall street money.

Is your business portable and could you move it exactly how it is if you wanted to?  There are a few states in the US you know that you do not have to pay income tax at all.

Of course I have looked at that, and am looking at maybe keeping my present situation, but moving upstate (i own the office where we work out of and have a tenant who helps out with he costs).  Its no easy though, considering my client base, family, friends, etc, are all over here.

Additionally, I have court appearances, and have to pick up the mail, etc.

I am definately looking into it though.
