« on: July 17, 2009, 07:22:42 AM »
He actually starts squealing and I think he stops breathing for several minutes ::)  I don't care if you think he's right, this fucking guy is a fucking crazy lunatic.

I heard that yesterday as he is on WPR 710.  The idiot who he was talking to needed to be hung up on sooner.

Glenn was squeeling like a pig.  You know he's lost it when he does that.  Don't make excuses for him.  Talk shows deal with callers that don't agree with them all the time.  He sure didn't want to debate her on anything.  Whatever is right or wrong here Glenn comes out looking wrong when melts like that.  I think he just topped the Bill O/Geraldo fight.

Hannity is the worst.  Listen to his Radio Show for 5 minutes with any caller that disagrees, it goes like this:

Jim: I disagree with...
Hannity: JIM JIM JIM, there's nothing to disagree with
Jim: but, I just thi...
Hannity: JIM JIM JIM, you're not listening.
Jim: wait, you're not
Hannity:  JIM!!! JIM!!! STOP, I know all about that and you're wrong

Dude wins ever argument by cutting them off before they can make any actual point.  That to me makes Hannity look wrong everytime by default.  Glenn pulled the same thing here but used rage.

Nobody should listen to Hannity.  Glenn is a fucking joke and I wouldn't listen to Savage either, that guy is another rage and hate filled psycho.  Never heard of those other names.  Lou Dobbs is good.  That's a guy who will sit down and have a very fair argument with people he disagrees with.  Gotta have respect for Lou.  These other guys like Glenn are not remotely close to Lou Dobbs.

That was Great!

Agree with Beck 100 % , in regards to what he told that lady.

Ironic that many people who live in Countries that have Universal Health care,  once they are told they need a major surgery, immediately fly to the USA do get  the surgery. and pay for it out of their pocket, instead of waiting in line to have it done for free at home

Canadian Women Testifies Before Congress On Negatives of Canadian Healthcare

Canadian Shona Holmes is up to her eyeballs in debt after having to flee her country's supposedly "free" public health system to seek life-saving medical treatment in the United States.

After being diagnosed with a brain tumor, the Ontario woman was told she would have to wait five months or more to see a specialist in order to schedule surgery, which would come months after seeing the specialist. Her condition quickly began to deteriorate, causing her to lose her vision and forcing her to consider treatment outside Canada's health care program despite being told "nightmare stories about American health care."

She got the treatment she needed in the U.S., but racked up more than $100,000 in out-of-pocket health care expenses. One of the reasons, she says, is because provincial law bars their citizens from purchasing health insurance.

"I owe money to everyone I know," she lamented, citing the second mortgage she had to take out on her house and her husband who is now working two jobs to repay debts to their family and friends.

She has filed a constitutional challenge to her province because it prohibits the sale of private health care or insurance, yet put her life in danger by being unable to provide care in a timely manner. "I'm not the type to be unprepared," she said. "I would have bought insurance if I could have."

"Most people say I must have had the financial resources to get this treatment, but I just had no other options, I had to get it," she told Hot Button over coffee in downtown Washington.

She was in town to testify to Congress about her struggle with public health care. Mrs. Holmes said she had an obligation to warn Americans about the perils of a public health care system, in light of the push from President Obama to implement such a program. She's agreed to appear in advertisements for Patients United Now, a campaign that opposes Mr. Obama's plan.

"My agenda, if I have one, is to tell them be careful what you wish for," she said.

Ok, no doubt, Glenn was drunk today.  Watching a little more of the show, he's slurring his speech and losing train of thought bigtime.  Big difference from his normal antics too.

I think Glen flipped out because that woman said that Glen never had a sick family memember in the beginning of the call.  He has a sick child I believe.  Additionally, that woman was dumber than dirt.

And just to clarify things a bit... all these callers are pre-screened by someone at these shows. They usually end up putting through the easy victims to state a point. You WILL NEVER see Glenn Beck bring in a really knowledgeable person precisely because Glenn's only game is yelling and putting people down.

If I were on his show the first thing I'd say is that is he loves his country so much, why is it that he goes against the voice of the majority, which the latest Gallup polls show ~60% are in favor of government-run health insurance. Glenn makes a valid point about many well-to-do foreigners coming into the country to get experimental treatment on disease A or B, but notice one thing: He only points out the people he identifies himself with, which is people with money, a minority of human beings.

In expressing a valid point, that experimental treatment here in the US is sort of the triumph for the Big Pills industry, he negates something very OBVIOUS, which is that the immense MAJORITY of foreigners ARE NOT coming here to get health care, which people here are saying we need universal health care. Then again, we can all see whose interests Glenn is pushing. It's just a damn shame he doesn't invite someone who can really give him a mental lashing, but the usual tree-hugger who gets a 5-minute briefing from a friend and then tries to argue with a charlatan.
