I've done more than my share of damage in my day and always had great fuck buddies (easy to do when you haven't had a girlfriend in over 20 years), but at the same time, I've also ended up in the FZ way too many times for someone with as much game as I thought I had back then.   

It doesn't happen anymore, though.  Why?

Because I tell them from the start that I have ZERO INTEREST in being 'just friends'.  It's a simple line, but saying, "I've already got enough friends" puts them on notice and lets them know the deal up front.  Depending on the girl, you might have to go with "I sleep with all my female friends", but again, explicitly stating your intentions is the best way to get past all the bullshit rather quickly.
