I'm reading a book called "For Women Only" about the way men think by Shaunti Feldhahn.

She polled a bunch of men and received sometimes surprising answers to some of her questions. I was curious to see how the guys here would respond to some of them. After we get some votes I will share her Poll results also.

I just started the book but it seems to be pretty interesting...I may Poll some of her other questions also.

(there is also a "For Men Only" book available)

LOL man thats a horrible choice stella that book seems kinda depressing...

I think most guys are going to choose alone and unloved and most women inadequate and disrespected for the most part. Alot of women I know seem to want to try and fit a square peg into a round hole just for the sake of being with someone, perhaps thats just me though.

You can't eat love.

Also, not being in a relationship doesn't have the same social connotation for men as women.

Yeah but it's guys that take women too seriously who have problems with women. The typical guy has a drama limit.

Culturally... I don't feel people 'look down' on a 35 yr old, unmarried dude with no kids. Folks will just say "he hasn't found the right woman yet".

I really do feel relationships are important but people should never tolerate disrespect or any other nonsense to avoid being alone. Tolerating foolishness is a sign of weakness.

There's a old, ugly saying only a few people understand: Tolerance leads to resentment.

Feldhahn's men's poll results were this:

Prefer

Alone and Unloved - 74%

Inadequate and Disrespected - 26%

Also, many men complained that the 2 choices were the same which lead Feldhahn to state that if a man feels disrespected, he is going to feel unloved.

(She also talked about a retreat she went to where the questions were asked and the majority of the females in the room would prefer "inadequate and disrespected" over "alone and unloved.")

So far the poll is not unexpected.
But it does show woman are from Venus and men are from super awesome Mars
