didn't go but saw the dexter panel

i think i've gone through seasons 1-3 on demand AT LEAST twice now

the show premieres in late september and yet they have only filmed 6 episodes.  Apparently, John Lithgow hasn't shot ANY scenes with the principal actors yet

Pics stolen from fark.com. Looks like a high nerd factor at this convention. Someone had titled the Asian guy 'sweet and sour Porkins.' That's a witty reference of a high caliber.  ;D

I don't know about you but that guy in the middle gets props from me for going as the Dude.

I went Saturday as I do every year for the event.

A lot of fun but my big complaint is most of the items there are not available for sale for at least another 6 months. I really wanted the Superman 2 Zod figure they showcased.

People go nuts for the celebrities, which I suppose I would too if not for the fact that I see many of them in LA all the time. I asked Ryan Reynolds if he'd be there this year and said no but probably next year for Green Lantern.

no, but I just came back from a vacation in rimini, italy, yesterday, and they had a big comix convention there.

-> the town was filled with nerds in costumes, unfrigginbelievable...

I went for a few days this year.  spent a few days in LA, and back in montana now. 
talk about a nerdfest! wow.  I fit right in. 

and lou was charging 30 bucks for a polaroid with him!  :O   
when did it go up from 20?   Oh well. I had my friend snag a
shot of him over my shoulder real quick.  But I gotta say,
dood's looking huge still!! huge!!

Also, saw David Henry walking around on Venice beach with
some hottie 'n another musclechick.  He was looking pretty solid.
