Exactly. Plus the supplement line. The dude is doing pretty good. Train wreck physique but knows his stuff.

Dave's diet clients *do* usually look like shit, but it's not because they're fat and out of shape.  Usually it's overdieted, stringy and flat.

Romano has taken the biggest hit in terms of money.  I would imagine that he is paid by Palumbo.. His monthly cheques for magazine writing can pay off some expenses..but it's nothing great.

Fired for legitimate reasons in the middle of a recession will always be a slap in the face.

He had to move into a much smaller apartment.

Credit crunch..  even more expenses looming as his kid needs braces and college is closer than he thinks.

Romano seems to have hoorrible luck with women who seeme to steamroll his wallet every time.

It will end horribly for him

 To him it's more of a game to get the latest "hottest thing" before the competition. He's such a slimy buisnessman but then again I'm the one who clips coupons and waits for sales to buy groceries an he's the one ballin' living like a phat rat so what the fuck do I know?

Palumbo's contest prep business alone prob makes about 100K a year easy.  The supplement line in my opinion is overpriced but its all in the major distributions so he's making very good money off that.  Then his RX muscle website has paid advertisers and his affiliate links for the forum is also bringing him some change.  Palumbo does fine as far as money goes.


Romano.... ::)  well he works for Palumbo so he gets a paycheck I guess however his main source of money is from 7 houses that are on foreclosure.  He rents them all out and keeps all the money because he's not paying the bank.  He was bragging about that to me a while back.

How do you prep 300 athletes in a year? I don't see how he can do much else than send a generic diet and answer a few email every few weeks with a line or two,  "increase cardio", "eat less", "increase the thyroid". I wouldn't call that a trainer. Does he do much more than this for clients? I don't see where he'd get the time to really involve himself.

I know one pro simply got the same generic diet as he's posted on the forums. 200lbs or 300lbs - same diet. He and his other coach felt they had to increase the food considerably.
