I know the 308 GTB is a pussy Ferrari compared to the ones of today but back in the early 80's I used my friends alot when he was out of town.  I love crusing the beach especially Belmont Shores in 1st gear.  The high whine was just awesome.

The 308's had a lot of problems, they fix them  with the 328, but that general shape is a good one..it was basis for the 288 GTO and the F40.

Luckily never had a problem when I drove it.  It was pretty sound car.  It was so popular back then because of Magnum.  So it was defintiely a status symbol and signs of cool.  My Porsche 935 slantnose I liked more and got a whole lot more looks.  And in first gear going down Kalakaua in Waikiki it sounded awesome
