That sounds like what alot of High GI carbs would do because of changes in blood sugar levels. Protein alone won't do this.
i especially get the headache on soya protein and smoked salmon too
Don't drink soy. the salmon probably because it's smoked.....nasty. Try it without being smoked and see if you get a headache.
