Life is good
« on: August 02, 2009, 02:25:18 PM »
Seems these days anyone could built up a decent bankroll if they start out struggling but put in hard work and eventually invest in realestate in two years if they start out at zero dollars today and built a positive network of only postiving productive loving people who dont mind living cheaply in the beginning

they can also become crazy fit working hard drinking alot of water at theyre job w/o having a car and simply relying on bicycle for transportation and a back pack to carry food in and roomate with friends and stack cash easily

it just takes sacrifice.

You are talking about simple living a great philosophy but very hard to do in todays world pushed by technology and the economy. Check out Walden Pond by Henry David Thereau he speaks of this many years ago.

just dont forget to read and learn, being smarter even living a "simple" life makes it even more enjoyable/fulfiling.

how is it hard?

It's hard to be smart enough to identify the real good sources of hapiness and pleasure and eradicate those who arent as positive in the long run, that is the "hard" part.

Hard to resist to the numerous temptations in our decadent societies that mislead people and make em unhappy even if they live in the most richest and advanced civilizations ever.

You cant be happy if you're not smart enough, or at least trying to get smarter whatever your skills in this aspect of life. Being smart doesnt mean you have to be a smart ass either or an "intelectual"... it's just about knowing what's really good and what isnt for you and your loved ones. Reading stories from the begining of mankind , from our ancesters who dealt with exactly the same kind of thoughts we have but centuries ago is also quite reassuring and fulfiling.

All in all, it's always the same story repeating itself over and over for everyone, and it doesnt make it less enjoyable, especially if you know what is your story and like it for what it is. Even if it can be obvious to some that we re all doing something someone has already done sometime somewhere, a lot of people dont figure this in their whole life.

Great post uber its all about expectations from society and addictions - if you dont buy into it all you can be content but if you do frustration will arise

as much as an alcoholic drama queen i probably type myself out to be, it wasnt that big of a deal all i needed was some severe water drinking, i think i have been chronically dehydrating myself and that was the culprit of my epic lows and not the alcohol to the extent one may beleive

Understood been down that road. Alcohol dehydrates you and you dont even realize it. Hydration is the key to overcoming it.

exactly i wasnt realizing until you get so low, down and out that you know something is drastically wrong, a typical bber would first think hes not getting enough protien, it can take a number of bad choices to realize its only the water that is missing
