the dude Flex Wheeler trained this year..... Keith Williams.
I think he looks even worse than Freeman and got second in the super heavies at the USA
To be honest with you Stavos, 95% of all the guys in this Mr USA, didn't impress me.I think Keith Willimas, didn't look that great, and the 3 athletes that turned pro wont be good pro bodybuilders.
I remember back when the Mr USA, used to be "the show".All the current pro bodybuilders would attend the USA, to see there next threat.I went to the USA, and there might have been only 3-4 pro bodybuilders there.
I remember guys like Eric Fromm would compete in the USA.I think the year was 2003 when Eric Fromm Weighed in at 275 lbs, he was a little off, but he was massive.I used to train with Eric, back in the day.I was dating a girl in Colorado, who used to train at Colorado Pro gym , just outside of Denver.Eric was a local hero in his home town.He got up to 320 lbs that year, and stepped on stage at 275lbs.Eric wasn't a big framed guy ,so 275lbs on him lean looked friggin huge.He was very lean ,but not hard. That year he got 4th because he wasn't quite hard enough. For a man only 5'11" to weigh that much, and was only about 10% of his condition is quite impressive.
When you think of the Mr USA, I think about guys like Eric Fromm Matt Duvall,Edgar Fletcher, Tom Prince( when he was big),Bob Chicerillo,Troy Alves,Art Atwood,Flex Wheeler,Kevin Leverone,Craig Titus,Jim Quin, Mike Quinn, Mike Christian.
Now all the bodybuilders I mentioned may have not won the Mr USA, but were all national level athletes, who would kill todays national athletes. The athletes were the past were bigger, and better conditioned.
