Brock Lesnar is a totally different case. He states that his heart just wasn't into football. He was looking for an athletic endeavor that didn't absorb virtually all of his time and had him living out of a suitcase.

That's the reason he left WWE (and a 6-year, multi-million dollar contract). The road life, coupled with the beatings and his growing dependency on painkillers, to get in the ring, were taking their toll on him.

Of course, he could have done a decent job of following the "time-honored" tradition, before he left. But, that's another story.

Funny, aren't they? Antonio Gates didn't play a down of football throughout his entire youth and stepped into the NFL and became the best TE in the league. NFL athletes are on a different level than everyone else. Evidence: The joke that is Brock Lesnar or all those rugby losers not even making practice squads.

And for all the retards claiming NFL players are all juice, I guarantee most of those rugby "stars" are just as geared. They're just worse athletes.

The only reason they didn't take Lesnar is because of age... if he had wanted to be an NFL player when he was in college he would've done it for sure.

Put him in the amateur wrestling ring and I bet he doesnt get a 106-5 record.. That also makes sense doesn't it?

If he was an elite athlete like Gates then he would have at least made a practice squad or second team. Fact of the matter is that there are dozens upon dozens of better athletes than Brock in the NFL. He's a good athlete. Elite? Nope.
