Favorite Gear
« on: August 07, 2009, 07:52:35 PM »
I figured 'Favorite Outfit' sounded too homosexual.

Mr. Perfect's multi colored singlet
HBK's tights 96-98
Macho Man 3 star tights (not the gay rodeo outfits)
Bret's Pink and Black
Flair's boots
all i can think of for now

Rude's airbrushed tights always made me crack up. I remember when he & Bobby appeared on Regis's show. He had Kathy Lee's face brushed on his crotch and Regis on his ass. :)

Jericho used to occasionally sport some black tights with a silver metallic barbed wire pattern that I liked.
Highspots sells other color combos like red tights and blue wire, but black and silver is the only one that works in.

I also liked the tights Davey Boy wore later on – between his tag team w/ Dynamite and before his “attitude garb” of jeans tucked into the combat boots.

I was never a fan of singlets, but Hennig had the best with that inverted triangle of contrasting color on the back. It was the only singlet I ever liked.
Almost every color combination worked, but he was the only one who could get away with it.

Mass, are you trying to decide on some ring attire?

Ultimate Warrior used to be awesome, I remember as a kid drawing my own face paint designs.

Stone Cold's whole look was excellent as well.

You just reminded me also of Demolition with the chrome studs on their trunks & straps, along with the metal spikes on their vests and masks.

Eadie & Darsow were pretty bad-ass for their time.
Had some kick-ass entrance music, too.

I like Razor's look as well. He had a lot of different colors. I always thought it was weird Bret wore the Pink singlet as SS 93

Bret Hart's mostly black with the pink edges and graphics was cool.

Brutus Beefcake sort of just reverted all the way down to a Tom Of Finland homo slut look with his tights over the years.

Sid Vicious did the leather vest (stone cold) look well.  Which is good because his Mad Max Lord Humongous look was really bad.

Sting had cool get ups early in his career.
