Those pics are from when he won the 1986 Heavies at the British Champs,but lost the overall title and the chance to turn pro,to Chris Oskys.Dorian weighed 212lbs at that show.

He was 226 there.

Same year Strydom took 5th at the Mr.O weighing 225 (overdieted but Dorian is shredded).

Dorian would have taken some serious scalps at the O that year.

may be it was good for him not to turn pro. in this year because he was going to place 5th and 6th at diff. shows before reaching the form he presented in 1990.. it goes without saying that it was good for him he was patient and didnt enter any pro show in 1988 and 1989 and waited till he reached the next level to place high from the beginning of his career in 1990..

yates at 226 could still turn pro at any pro qualifier today, whether it be in uk or us... thats how shit bodybuilding has become, went back over after the 90's bit time

True, but would have been interesting to see him knock around all those guys in the late 80's. He missed a few with the WBF starting up.

That 1986 form beats Shawn Ray's 1986 form.

That shot in 1988, he was actually harder at the 1990 NOC although only 2 pounds heavier. He made the rest of them look soft. Arvilla had some shots up recently.
