Claim Jumper. The great American gluttony

Not sure how many of you have been to a claim jumper restaurant, but this place is the prime example of obesity in our country.  Portions that are bigger than any human should consume followed up by a dessert that's even bigger.  Rows of bench seats with obese people gorging themselves into oblivion. It is shocking when I see two people that just polished off their main entrees and each one gets their own dessert.
I went for a work lunch and I was so stuffed after the meal that I couldn't image how anyone has room for dessert, let alone a piece of cake bigger than a football.
The lack of willpower sickens me.

I went to Claim Jumper in California on a business trip a few years back.  I had the beef ribs.  Had a slab of chocolate cake for desert.  Good God, you're not kidding about the portion sizes.   Good food though.

There probably isn't an item on the menu that is under 1000 calories.  Claim Jumper is great for permabulkers.
