soy protein shake? a good choice for bedtime?
« on: August 11, 2009, 10:17:20 AM »
besides cottage cheese and the greek yogurt stuff and casein protein, i was wondering if soy protein was a good choice for a right before bed protein source? isn't soy a slow release protein like casein?

Soy promotes estrogen production in males – not the best idea, particularly if you’re past your peak testosterone producing years.

A little soy is okay – even good for you, but you should not rely on it as your primary (or even secondary) source of protein.

Agreed.

Not to mention soy tastes awful.  Much better choices out there.

Soy?  More like deadtime.  Stay away.
