As we always like to point out: There are no coincidences in Obama world. Little Julia Hall is just the latest in-the-tank questioner with Obama campaign/Democrat ties to turn up “randomly” at presidential health care forums.

This kinda crap just shows that the people we elect are at best inept, they need to have everything scripted.

To Kazan's point, it shows that both sides (politicians in general) play games.

Many of Obama's townhalls, speeches, and addresses have had people picked to attend and placed in the front.  Same as some of the healthcare townhalls, there are groups attending the meetings that want to cause trouble.  I still think most are regular citizens but no doubt there are some special interest reps who want to cause trouble.  All the more to the point of having limited but necessary government!!  I can't understand why this isn't more clear to people.

Where was she from?  Obama gave her a bus ticket?

What's wrong with asking a question at a town hall meeting?

Is that the same thing as hired guns busting up a town hall meeting?

You see this is why you and I will never agree probably on anything, you only see one side, your side. It's OK for a democrat/liberal whatever to seed the audience with questions that can be responded to via the teleprompter.

What's wrong with a little girl asking a question at a town hall meeting?

And what makes you think a little girl her age wouldn't have a question she would want to pose to the President?

Clearly her mother is a supporter, ...and surely she has witnessed first hand all the hard work her mother put into his campaign. she must know how much faith her mother has in him and for her to see & hear condemnations of him and/or his efforts to reform healthcare, ...surely she would question it. It's quite normal.

And as such an ardent and long time supporter of the President, ...why the heck wouldn't her and her mother come out to see at a town hall when he comes to town? If you'd put in the same type of effort to get a man elected President, ...are you saying you wouldn't avail yourself of the opportunity to go to a town hall in your area to hear him speak?  Much ado about nothing. Malkin is simply being Malkin, ...except now she's sunk so low as to impune the character and/ or integrity of a little girl she doesn't even know. I wonder if she obtained permission to use the child's picture on her column. She's exploiting the likeness of a minor, in order to push her political agenda. Hall's mom is a lawyer, ...I hope she sues Malkin's pants off!

Sure.

Who planted her in the audience?

Is she not a resident of the area?

This is another non-issue brought up by people with too much time on their hands.

Malkin makes herself well informed and she is probably a very smart person but she can be abrasive and maybe too strongly opinionated.  The one thing I like about her is that she does back up her arguments, from what I've seen, regardless if you agree or disagree with her opinions.  I hate people who shout at each other with little facts.  I do not like some of these people disrupting the townhall meetings...but I also don't like officials giving them boilerplate generic answers without being fully informed (like Specter).  There has been nothing to say this plan will save us money.  The CBO is the most reputable group to analyze the plan so far and they say it will cost more.

What makes you think Obama bussed them in? Did you ever stop to think that perhaps it might have been the work of a quick thinking entrepreneur? I know many people who will rent a private coach, and sell tickets. just about every weekend there's some quick entrepreneur selling tickets for a bus leaving from Toronto to south of the border for a shopping excursion... day trips & weekend jaunts. I see flyers all over the place all the time. If you had questions or concerns about a very important issue... wouldn't you want to go to the nearest town hall
to you, ...or even want to travel a few counties over, if it meant being able to hear from the President himself? I would think people would pay rather highly for a ticket on that bus

But on the other hand you believe anyone that disagree's and shows any disent is a plant by the evil right wing conspiracy. Whats wrong with them asking a question? Are they not residents of the area?

So there are charges on both sides of "audience-planting."

Does anyone feel one is acceptable and one is not depending upon your party affiliation?

Or would neither be acceptable or would both be acceptable?

Does anyone find it less believable that "their" party would engage in audience-planting than the opposite party?

Both parties do it.

Palin can't tweet her daily tweet without mentioning her Downs child or the troops.

What does Palin mentioning her son or the troops have to do with bussing in people for a townhall meeting allegedly open to the public, and implanting a little girl into the crowd to ask a scripted question?

There is no other hand.

Did Obama or the WH orchestrate the event?

Not that I can see.

So what if she's a democrat like her parents.

Is this even remotely similar to the WH giving payola to news people to print WH copy?  Or the Bush WH tactic of holding TH meetings but eliminating any non-republican from the affair?

Get a grip.

These teabag rightwing thugs are given a chance to speak and they fuck it up by inciting riots.

I don't want to hear whining about an 11 year old girl's question.

How many times are you going to go back to the well with Bush? Everyone who doesn't agree with you is a rightwing thug or a wingnut or a nutjob blah blah blah infinium.

I don't really give a shit if you don't want to hear about, you can't have it both ways, they are either both wrong for seeding the audience or you have no problem with operatives in the audience.

I call it a point of reference.  Comparison brings out some truth.

Doesn't it?

See, this is why I draw the comparison.  If you'd have analyzed it, you wouldn't be asking me this question.

Bill O'Reilly just pointed that out on the 11 p.m. replay of the Factor.

In fact, O'Reilly appears to have just challenged the President to come on his show, or on Fox News in general, if he wants to make his case for his healthcare program. After all, per O'Reilly words, that's where the viewers are.

LOL... obama doesn't need to go on OReilly.

Obama is above calling on FOX reporters.
