heres why.........because in the entire history or future of internet-dom..............you are NEVER going to stop people from being ballbusters and assholes, NEVER, people in modern society need this outlet too much in this PC society where truth is always at a premium.
so, your not going to stop people from busing balls or being assholes................ ..it is then up to each individual, not to let it get to them, or to keep feeding the fire.
dont you get this simple paradigm..............yo u feed it by responding to it, ignore it and it goes away
The reason there are some many assholes and why we've become a much ruder and coarser society is that people allow it. There use to be a concept called stigma. People didn't behave in certain ways simply because it wasn't tolerated. There was a sense of embarrassment, guilt and shame. We've loss this. Simple standards of decency has taken a dive. One of the reasons a teenage girl didn't get pregnant in the fifties was not because they were more knowledgeable about birth control but because there was a sense of shame and dishonor. The way people dress, the public cursing, the rude behavior, just the general incivility in our culture that has evolved since the late 1960's is just getting worse. Simply because people put up with it. Last weekend I saw someone urinating in public as I was driving by. Right at a bus stop where school was letting out and children were walking by. They use to at least hide in the bushes or something and show a little modesty. Nobody said anything. I did. I did a quick U turn and put a stop to it.
I know it's a losing battle but sometimes you fight not only when you are guaranteed a victory but because it's the right thing to do even though nobody else cares.
A low-life like Pandae could easily be driven off this board if more people stood up to him and didn't put up with his gay inspired insults. But instead they allow him to drive others off this board or change their accounts. And believe me on this, of all the virtues that a man can and should aspire to: whether it's generosity, compassion, even goodness -- it is courage that is the most rare. And courage does not mean you are not afraid. Indeed you cannot have courage without fear otherwise it wouldn't be courage. It is overcoming your fears that is the mark of a courageous man.
Remember that video someone posted here of a women being repeated stabbed in public in front of a group of people who just watched? Everybody here said they would be the first to jump in and help her. I wonder. What people say they would do and what they actually do when their time comes is not always the same.
What would you do? And have you proven that you have the heart in real life?
