I have noticed many of the very best athletes looks much like regular persons.
Could it be veins just under the skin are used to cool blood that have been used and is circulating back to the heart and lungs. So if you are less veiny the more blood actually resides inside the muscle belly instead of outside. So if you have lots of veins then maybe you are weaker.
my veins are semi defined and I'm also semi weak, and so it makes sense.
Perhaps consistently working out in hot environments develope the veins.
