NANCY PELOSI "Un-American" when it comes to SINGLE PAYER
« on: August 14, 2009, 06:18:45 AM »

Nancy Pelosi is bought and paid for by the Private Insurance Industry.  So much for change.  Healthcare is going to be EXACTLY the SAME as it is now precisely because she is entwined with the Private Sector.

I think Republicans will be happy with the new bills once they realize its the same type of Healthcare that they have now ruled by the Private Industry where Profit is made from human suffering.

NANCY PELOSI UN-AMERICAN ON SINGLE PAYER
Filed under: News — russell @ 2:41 pm
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi last week claimed that “drowning out opposing views is simply un-American.”

If that’s true, then Nancy Pelosi, the Democratic leadership in Congress, and President Obama are un-American.

They have taken single payer off the table.

And treated anyone who calls for a full debate on single payer with contempt.

This despite the fact that single payer is supported by a majority of Americans and a majority of doctors.

Last week, Aaron Ney of Single Payer Action went to a $250.00 a person fundraiser in Boulder, Colorado.

At the end of the fundraiser, Ney politely asked Pelosi why she and the Democratic leadership took single payer off the table.

Pelosi brushed Ney aside.

And Pelosi’s security detail detained him as she made her way out.

Contemptuous.

“Totalitarianism in high heels,” Ney said.

I gave them a chance and Healthcare was the big lynch pin to set this off.  Pelosi is simply joining the Republicans in continuing to prop up the Health Insurance Industrial Complex by supporting the Private Sector thus continuing the pursuit of profit from human suffering.

Trust me when I say they are going to lose A LOT of support here as they are dropping the ball on this big time.  The current bills are no different from what already exists and it is not providing healthcare comprehensively and universally to everyone, nor is it cost-effective as the existing structure is kept entirely intact.  Single Payer is the only way to go and Pelosi wants nothing to do with it.

Bought and Paid for by the Private Sector.

All with added national debt, crony capitilism, lobbying, etc.

I was on huffington Post last night and the was almost a revolt on some of those boards.

I also saw a LGBT threat and they are near revolt over certain issues.

Obama and the dems should have focused on the economy first.
