bunch of idiots whining about how there aren't any new creative movie ideas when District 9 is one of the most incredibly fascinating, well-made and thought-provoking movies in recent history, fucckin movie came out several days ago  ::)

well, district 9 is the exception not the standard................ .if you want to see the current state of the movie business, just look at the pile of dogshit they unleashed upon th epublic this summer.

..........district 9 was one of the most thought-provoking and unsettling movies i have seen in a long time.....very unique film

Not sure I like Russell Crowe as Robin Hood.

I remember in the UK back in the late 80's they had a guy called Michael Praed as Robin Hood for the TV series (Robin of Sherwood) and he looked the part - then they killed him off and replaced him with Jason Connery (Sean Connery's son) who was almost as good.

Happy days.
