The New Leaf Program
« on: August 15, 2009, 05:13:09 PM »
- Getting androgen levels checked out.

- Get checked for cancers, restart 1 iu GH if all clear.

- Considering a low protein, mostly vegan diet as an experiment.

- Only eating organic & pollutant free foods, insofar as possible.

- More cardio, less lifting, no more overtraining, more days off, more sleep.

- Deprioritizing work, no work on weekends, completing back burner projects, investigating career change.

- More time for things that matter, telling people and things that don't to go fuck a duck.

- Stress management, possibly psychotherapy if lifestyle changes don't cut the mustard.

- Continued audio/video lecture education on my own, investigate flexible schedule courses at local unis.

- Get out of control cigar smoking down to one a week.

- Troll Getbig less, but with greater intensity.

What are you doing for yourself?

I'm going to a farmers market this morning in search of organic produce.  We don't have Whole Foods, Traders, etc, so it will take some looking into.

I really feel like a cigar tho.  :'(

Oh man this thread just reminded me how much easier your life can be with allot of money.
I'm incorporating some more leisurely activeties myself, i.e. get a massage once a day, take 20 minute naps, lay off the caffeine, have daily sex hire a hoe if needed, I'm going to start looking more seriously into HRT aswell.

Nothing wrong with wine in moderation, so that's still in.  I overindulged with smoking while away though and now have to battle the cravings.

And hippies can't afford $10/kg broccoli.  I can't believe I just paid that.

Seriously, if you can, grow your own veggies. I don't, but i can see it being somewhat satisfying/cool to plant and eventually eat your own veggies. Plus it's way cheaper. Fruit/veg is a fucking rip off.....

Imo, it's best to investigate inhibiting factors like bad estrogen metabolism and high prolactin before injecting T.  Even then, just seeing how you do with HCG is better than using T if you don't have to.  Well, unless you want to go turbo, of course.  I just want a healthy normal level.

At your age, I seriously doubt it Web.

'You want to be a farmer?  Here's a couple of achers.'  :D

The old man and his wife have a plot at a local uni and all they supply are the seeds and labour.  No dirt, no tools, etc.  I might take someone up on a deal like that, but it would be a false economy to start a garden in the backyard of my rental house.  Besides, time is pretty tight and it sounds like a fairly labour intensive hobby.

So I burnt $60 at a farmers market today.  I've got a few more to check out, closer to home and hopefully cheaper.

Well a healthy normal level is what I'm after with HRT, fucked up hormones mess with your mind etc, but I'll look into what you said.
Also been eating allot of cocoa beens lately and doing Tabata cardio, I think ima smoke a blunt later aswell.

If your nuts are working ok (as evidenced by the fact that you can raise your levels with HCG), then the issue to tackle would be why your pituitary output is low.  Odds are your E or prolactin levels are inhibiting.  A blood panel showing androgens, estrogens, prolactin, LH, FSH, and TSH and thyroid hormones would provide some good data for an educated hrt man imo.

Another 'theory' I heard is that an overstressed system will preferentially shuttle progesterone down the adrenal pathway to produce cortisol.  A GP suggested this, but I have my doubts about it.

There really are not that many good tumor markers, typically they are used for prognosis and follow-up, not diagnosis of cancer.

Interesting.  Still, at only 1 iu/day the risk is minimal and, to be honest, that item is lower down the priorities list than it appears.
