This guy is the greatest track and field athlete that has ever lived, he lives in his own stratosphere, we may never see another like him.
Not necessarily, he's just the fastest guy of this era, and doesn't do other events like Owens and Lewis did, only sprints. Other guys have been great in longer races like the 200-800. And the best decathaletes have been arguably just as good over a wider assortment of events.
The time is unbelievable BUT factor in the new tracks, spikes and wind and there might not be much differerence between him and Ben Johnson.
The tall sprinter will obviously now come more in to vogue, should've been done decades ago. Not sure that someone taller with bigger strides is necessarily the greatest athlete though, they don't have much mobility and are best in straight lines not other events.
