While I agree that the IFBB stance on drugs is hypocritical, you can't expect Bob to do anything about it. Think of Bob as the head of the players' union in the MLB. Would you expect the players' union to petition Bud Selig to get tougher with steriod testing? No, because their job is to represent the athletes.
However Chick doesn't represent the athletes, he chodles union balls.

Can you imagine the IFBB Drug testers (do they exsist?) turning up at a pro show.It would be a similar scene to that national show in Belgium the other month when they had to close it down because all the Bodybuilders ran like fuck out of the door.

The rush to get out from backstage from the O if the testers turned up would be like the start of the New York marathon.  :D

Not far from that,  vice president Joe Biden said he would take down any activity steroid related that can mislead our youth one by one...

Imagine the night of the Mr.O all bbers running away from the back door and Bob with his flamboyan shirt leading the pack running for his life when someone screams The  FEDS !!!!

Again...I'm at a loss.

The IFBB amateur has reported that they are making strides to mirror the testing of the IOC, etc.....so whats your point?

My point is that we recognize the BS in such report and you cant.

I've never made a single comment regarding the amateur fed stance on drugs, testing, etc....so on what basis do you profess to know what I recognize and what I don't?

Do you have any idea of what you're talking about?

This was the very first question to you in this thread:

Dear Bob,

The fans want to know: is the IFBB still winning the battle against drugs? Are the vast majority of the athletes competing under the IFBB umbrella still drug-free?

A simple YES or NO would have saved you a 5 pages long of nonsense.

Bob's view on IFBB pros when they get suspended (usually unfairly):  "well, since he has been suspended, he's no longer an IFBB athlete.  Since I am only responsible for representing IFBB athetes, he's no longer my problem."

Bob would you agree to a random steroid test?  Anytime any place?  How about a lie detector test regarding lifts in your shoes and hair plugs?

so the IFBB arbirtarily applies its rules?

The IFBB reserves the right to drug test, so far, no test has been given in 2009

so you are saying that your federations has no ethics or integrity as they cannot simply follow their own standards?

I say the onus is on the federation to enforce them...as I stated with my original response in the thread.

Call them whatever you wish....semantics don't change the facts

no, you should man up (unlikely) and call it like it is. your federation contrdicts itself

So, you figure I should lobby AGAINST the athletes and insist they start drug testing??

Okay one is winning the drug battle (in the IFBB amateur league)

While the other has been working for dacades to get bodybuilding in to the Olympics ....

In your opinion not as an athlete rep but as an Individual capable of emitting a judgment wich one is more delusional ?

Still no answer .........

Karu laying the smackdown on Chic!!!  It really is sad how ignorant Chic is.  His ignorance is heightened with his obvious sidestepping of questions.  He is the perfect stooge man scapegoat sucker puppet lapdog Bodybuilder for the IFBB to use to do this job.  No wonder no one else wants his job.  No one else could lower themselves so low as to make look so pathetic.  I bet somewhere in those hilarious Code of Ethics of the IFBB there is a hidden code that says "you cannot have any dignity or integrity to be part of the IFBB team"  Very sad

THe report didn't say amateur IFBB, it said IFBB.

"the annual President's Report, which was delivered by Ben Weider at the IFBB International Congress in Cairo, Egypt, on October 27, 2002."

the IFBB International Congress regards only amateur bodybuilding.

At CVS Pharmacy, a 10 ml 200 mg/ml bottle of testosterone cypionate goes for $86, so the answer to your question is $43

The speech did not state the "amateur" IFBB. It referenced the IFBB.

What is Bob's rate from his dealer? I am confident he could match or beat CVS
